Heron and Masterkids, in collaboration with UNFICYP, to organise special event
On October the 24th, Heron and Masterkids, in collaboration with UNFICYP, will organise the annual EU CodeWeek teacher training event at Ledra Palace, Nicosia.
As of this year, Cyprus is a member of the European Space Agency (ESA) and eligible to participate in the educational activities, available to all member countries. Such activities include the innovative "Astro Pi Mission Zero", in which students program an image on the Raspberry Pi SENSE Hat LED array (8x8) using Python, and then send the code to be executed on the International Space Station!
Registration forms will be open and available early September, with a limited number of available seats (40 teachers in total).
